Frequently Asked by Our Partners

How long are the business school projects?
The intervention stage of a PopUp Business School Aotearoa (PUBSA) would normally last between one and four weeks. This also includes follow-up workshops.

Why are they so short?
The PopUp Business School is designed to be a focused project to maximise impact and harness momentum.

How is it managed?
PUBSA has a well structured project plan that is transparently managed along with our collaboration (funding) partners to 1) get 'bums on seats' and 2) deliver an attendees outcome connecting seamlessly to the local business ecosystem.

Do you provide follow-up workshops?
Yes we have two follow-up workshops that focus on Collaboration in Business and Business Leadership

Won't it go back to how it was afterwards?
Part of the end of the project is to empower the communities to provide continuing support to people exploring business and enterprise.

What if no-one turns up?
The pre-project and marketing phase is about making best use of existing resources and relationships to promote the arrival of the school.

What if everyone turns up?
We are flexible and can structure our course to suit the audience.  We can help one person or a thousand people make progress.  Bring it on!!

What are the outcomes?
Motivated, inspired and enterprising people making progress in communities through business and self-employment. We will deliver workshops, coaching, mentoring and learning from each other.

How much does it cost?
Costs depend on the length of the Pop Up Business School and how communities want to structure it with us. Contact us to discuss how best to approach it to get the best value.

How are we different from traditional enterprise support?
How are we different from traditional business support?
  • We understand writing a business plan is not for everyone
  • We believe you don’t always need capital and investors to build a successful business
  • We excite and inspire people to want to start a business
  • We deliver the latest online business models where people can make money from home
  • Fun and passion are at the core of everything we do
  • We focus on delivering through Passion and Practicality
  • We complement traditional business support by getting people started and connecting them to the existing business ecosystems where they are looking to start their business.
  • We build the businesses with people in the workshops so they believe they can do it
  • We create a community that support each other long after the course by inviting them to join the PopUp Business School Alumni Programme
