the Alumni programme

From the 'get-go' the team at PopUp Business School Aotearoa (PUBSA) wanted to build a world class alumni programme. We have always believed that after-care was an essential element to assist our Alumni to have continued access to community, tools, support and processes.

Our Alumni (Graduates)

Our attendees made a decision to take a risk, to step into unchartered waters and to pursue their dream of going into business.
Our statistics show that on average 70% of our attendees are women, that 30% are unemployed, that we have a raft of ethnicities and the one thing that they all have in common is being a business owner and building their business.
At each PopUp we see first hand why we love what we do. We see individuals have 'lightbulb' moments of understanding. We see them step out of their comfort zone every day.
We are inspired and motivated that we are part of their business journey. Part of our job is the business school... the next part though... the after-care programme for our Alumni... that carries a different type of inspiration.

PopUp Tools and Processes

PUBSA provides an after-care programme for Alumni (graduates) of the PopUp Business School. The Alumni Programme covers a range of engagements:
  • The Support Group All graduates are invited to join closed national  and regional support groups. These communities of cohorts learn off each other,  participate in webinars, share experiences and attend follow-up workshops such as Leadership in Business.
  • The Changing Room is only available to Alumni to access tools and special offers from third party suppliers like Xero as an example.
  • The Business Park is designed as a unique marketing strategy to enable Alumni to market their products and services.
  • Awhi 360 is a support programme designed to have a deeper business understanding of being in business.
  • Alumni Spotlight is an opportunity to promote and highlight Alumni Businesses.
